We're excited to announce an opportunity for a Security Specialist position at Country Bank.
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and administering all aspects of physical and electronic security.
This position maintains, tests, and provides training for fire, robbery, active shooter and emergency procedures, and maintains the Bank's Security Program, ensuring that it is updated and relevant for trends in physical security threats.
We're searching for an individual with a strong attention to detail.
This candidate should be able to develop and maintain procedures, manage physical security processes while implementing and maintaining all electronic security equipment, focusing on the safety and security of the staff.
An Associate's degree or equivalent is required, and a minimum of three years of work experience in a security-related field is also required.
The hiring range for this position is $60,000 to $85,000.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May be Assigned):
Manages the overall security of the Bank's physical locations, including Access Control, Medeco keys and DMP alarm systems.
Develops, implements and maintains all security procedures including access controls, burglar and robbery-related systems and protocols including alarms and video surveillance, and emergency event response.
Implements, maintains and administers bank-wide security and emergency-related equipment, including DVR's, cameras, cash security mechanisms, AED's, as well as emergency supplies, i.
e.
bleed control kits, first aid kits, etc.
Schedules and manages security vendor repairs, as necessary.
In collaboration with Learning and Development, conducts all security-related training, including Robbery Training, Emergency Procedures training, Workplace Violence training, Active Shooter training and fire drills.
Responds and assists in emergency events, such as:
911 calls, fire/security alarms, medical events, etc.
Serves as the Bank's representative with law enforcement authorities when responding to robberies or other crimes involving physical security, as well as internal post-event management debriefs.
Serves as the physical security subject matter expert on projects, as needed.
Performs annual vendor contract reviews.

Knowledge and Skills:
It is required that the employee in this position can work independently, interpreting ideas and facts, while also analyzing and interpreting federal and state laws and/or regulations.
Employees with exceptional verbal and numerical aptitudes are preferred.
This position should have strong written communication skills.
Expertise in security controls and best practices is required.
This position requires intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Point is also necessary.
Education and Work
Experience:
An Associate's degree, or equivalent experience, is required.
A minimum of three years of work experience in a security-related field is required with experience in a banking environment strongly preferred.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
This position is in an office environment, which means the physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards, with a moderate level of noise.
Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen with freedom of movement on a regular basis is expected.
This job requires frequent physical demands such as sitting, hearing, computer work, repetitive hand motion such as typing, talking, standing, walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and/or ladders, kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, reaching overhead, pulling, pushing, and the ability to lift more than 50 lbs.
